Account Deletion Policy

1. Overview
At UnifyData, we respect your right to control your data. This policy outlines how you can request the deletion of your account and what happens to your data afterward.
2. How to Request Deletion
To delete your account, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your UnifyData dashboard.
- Navigate to **Settings** > **Account Management**.
- Select **Delete Account** and confirm your request.
- Alternatively, you can send an email to deletion@unifydata.com from your registered email address.
3. Data Retention
Upon receiving a deletion request, your personal profile will be deactivated. However, please note:
- Financial Records: Transaction logs and financial records must be retained for at least 6 years to comply with financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Identification: Basic identification linked to financial records may be archived securely for compliance purposes.
4. Consequences of Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You will lose access to your dashboard and transaction history.
- Any remaining wallet balance may be forfeited unless specifically settled before deletion.
- You will stop receiving non-essential notifications from us.
5. Processing Time
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7-14 business days. You will receive a final confirmation email once the process is complete.
